Nadolo to start for Fiji Warriors

The Fiji Warriors have made one change to their starting team to play the Brisbane Academy in the Pacific Rugby Cup tonight.

The towering winger fills in as a replacement after three local members of the Warriors squad were not able to travel for the trans-Tasman leg of the Pacific Rugby Cup.

Nemani Nadolo will start at inside centre, pushing Jovesa Kunawave to centre and Aporosa Duaki moves to the reserve bench.

The Melbourne-based flyer said he was “looking forward to having a run and getting back into the white jersey.”

Nadolo’s inclusion to the team injects experience to the 29-member Warriors squad as only three players from last year’s PRC winning squad namely Waisea Daveta, Kolinio Vunaki and Aisea Natoga had been retained for the tour.

The side which had its game against the Junior Waratahs called off last week, will be led by number eight, Asiria Vueti.

The Academy side will have two Fijians within their side, with Samu Kerevi starting at centre and Chris Kuridrani on the wing.

The match starts at 8pm.
