National Women’s Expo to surpass sales from previous years

Women-ExpoThe National Women’s Expo after a lapse of one year has hit record sales with day one of the event surpassing over one hundred thousand dollars.

Ministry of Women’s Manager Field Services – Selai Korovusere told FBC News that the expo this year has been record breaking in a number of ways, from the 497 artisans involved from across the country to the number of ‘Fijian Made’ Business licenses expected to be distributed today.

Korovusere says in 2015 the expo sales hit more than three hundred thousand dollars, this year she says given the crowds and the quality of products available both traditional and contemporary, 2017 sales are expected to surpass this.

The National Women’s Expo will end today.
