Radradra ties knot with fiancee Fifita

radradraThree months after facing a brutal battle against domestic violence charges, Semi Radradra has tied the knot with his fiancee Vika Fifita.

The Paramatta Eels try‑scoring winger put almost 12 months of turmoil behind him to marry Fifita who Radrarda says is the best thing that has ever happened to him.

In a post on Instagram earlier this year, Radradra said he experienced ‘dreamless and dull nights’ before he met Fifita.

The couple got married at the Church of Latter Day Saints in Tamavua yesterday.

According to the bride’s mother Ivamere Fifita, her son in law had always been a part of their family.

“Actually Semi started it off by calling me mum during his school days,” Ivamere said.

“I taught him back at LDS Secondary School and little did I realise or did I know that this would happen, it was a surprise, but a good surprise.”

She said Radradra had always been referring to her during his high school years as mummy but back then he and Fifita were best friends then.

She said he used to come visit their family a couple of times before and as one of their family friends it was only fitting for him and Fifita to get married.

“This is just a beginning of a wonderful relationship between Semi’s family and Vika’s family.

Radradra will return to Australia today to prepare for the Paramatta Eels game against the Knights at 8pm Friday.
