More trains, buses and ferries in Sydney

railThousands of extra weekly public transport services will soon be introduced in Sydney, including a new double-decker bus service and ferry route.

Sydneysiders are getting thousands more train, bus and ferry rides every week, including a new fleet of double-decker buses to service the northern beaches.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian and Transport Minister Andrew Constance said on Sunday the new services would begin on November 26 with more than 1500 new weekly train services, almost 7000 new weekly bus services, including a new northern beaches B-Line.

The B-Line will be serviced by a fleet of double-decker buses.

There will be more than 140 extra weekly ferry services, including a new route linking the eastern suburbs, lower north shore, inner west and Sydney CBD.
